Hey my lovelies,
With this temperamental weather as it is, (crazy cold and raining one minute, then sunny the next), I figured I’d mix up next week’s Love Lunch and give you the best of both worlds….some of my delicious organic low fat lasagne to warm and fill you up, served with a side of organic mixed leaf salad. Perfect in any weather. Buonissima!
So next week’s Love Lunch will be my organic low fat vegetarian lasagne – of seasonal organic mixed veggies finely sliced and layered with char grilled zucchini and eggplant, my fat free organic spicy tomato sauce, spicy bean mix, organic pasta sheets, my béchamel sauce, a touch of mozzarella and parmesan, fresh Italian herbs from our garden and as always, my main ingredient, lots of AMORE!
Baked till golden brown…mmmmm…delizioso.
I will also make my low carb, gluten free and dairy free option, with my vegan béchamel sauce and only one layer of pasta, perfect for us with wheat/dairy intolerance’s and those of us watching our weight. All the taste but no guilt…yippee! (or as they say in Italy, urra!).
Both options served with a generous side of organic mixed green salad and my home made Italian style salad dressing of Lakelands biodynamic extra virgin olive oil, wholegrain mustard, garlic, herbs and balsamic vinegar.
This dish is great eaten either hot or cold, will last up to 5 days refrigerated and is perfect for freezing for a hassle free healthy dinner down the track (salad is served separately for the tray option). Just pre-heat oven on high for 20 mins, then pop in frozen lasagne tray for 30-40 mins… and serve with an Italian mixed salad, some ciapata and a smile…troppo facile. Bon appetito!
Love Lunch: Tuesday’s deliveries or pick ups $13.75 per serve (including GST) or a family size tray for $68.75 (including GST) which is 6 standard Love Lunch serves. (A saving of one serve if you buy by the tray).
Please note, due to fresh produce increase, Love Lunch has had to increase by 50 cents.
Dessert: Low fat, gluten free, delicious organic date and walnut loaf. Organic goodness at its finest! So yum…. as its preservative free it’s best to be eaten within 4 days. Cost: $6.60 (including GST).
Delivery: Add the $13 eco friendly delivery charge for East and CBD deliveries or $15 for greater Sydney. Suppertime charge a flat rate delivery fee no matter how many Love Lunch serves you order…. so get your work mates, friends and family ordering too to help reduce delivery costs.

Please note, if you are picking up your Love Lunch from the kitchen on Tuesday morning, the new kitchen address is: Aesops, 131 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000. You MUST let me know when you place the order if you are picking up. Tuesday morning collection is between 8am-10am sharp. You CANNOT collect your Love Lunch outside the specified times my lovelies, as there will be no one in the kitchen.
