Hey my lovelies,
I’m glad you enjoyed our little sojourn to Mexico on Tuesday, and yes I’ll be sure to put Placa Mixta Mexicana on the Love Lunch menu again for you all in the coming months!. Absolutamente!
I don’t know about you, but I absolutely adore Korean food, I love the fragrant flavours, delicious spices, the beautiful textures of the vegetables, pickles and silken tofu, but I can’t eat it due to the extraordinary amount of MSG added…
So it’s with great pleasure that next weeks Love Lunch will be: my organic vegetarian and MSG free Bibimbap! Bibimbap literally means “mixed rice” and is a traditional Korean dish of steamed rice topped with an assortment of namul – I will have julienne organic carrots, marinated bean sprouts, chopped spicy marinated organic eggplant, steamed organic Asian greens, shitake mushrooms and spicy silken tofu (GMO free) with some gochujang a chilli pepper paste, sesame seeds and hopefully, if my kitchen hand extraordinaire Yunge (who is Korean) has time to show me how to make kimchi tomorrow, we will have some organic MSG free homemade kimchi too!
For those of you who haven’t tried Bibimbap, it’s delicious! Light and fresh yet filling, fragrant but not over spicy, you stir all the ingredients together thoroughly just before devouring… this dish is perfect eaten hot or cold.
Cost: $12.10 each incl GST (that’s still just $11 to me plus GST). Plus the $13 eco friendly delivery charge for East and CBD drop offs. (Suppertime now has a Smart car fleet!)
Or you can pick up from the kitchen between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Monday 27th or 10am on Tuesday morning, just let me know when you place your order and I’ll give you the addie.

Almond Protein Ball (wheat and gluten free) Cashew & Pecan Ball (wheat and dairy free) and Peanut Premium Protein Ball (wheat and dairy free). Each ball is $3.29.
Found Organice Juice – organic carbon neutral 100% pure juice, no concentrates, no additives and no preservatives in flavours: pomegranate, strawberry and mulberry $3.45 for 250ml.
Organic Add Water - $2.50 for 500 mil.
